The reason I asked earlier whether or not she should have blonde or black hair is because I’m considering setting my characters in stone, starting with this one. I’m going to try to make a mock game case so I’m putting a wee more effort into making these look legit instead of some daydreaming college loser’s fantasy slapped on a sketchbook and admired by only themselves. I need to really focus on the goal of this project and not get caught up in how pretty I can make it look without stepping back into the fundamentals; sell it first, then worry about whether or not it’s the way YOU want it.
I hate it. I hate knowing that the second I get the oppurtunity to propose this game, granted I’m given even THAT, there’s such a slim chance that it’s going to fly. Hey, if does does? Party at my place! But then there’s the other problem;
I like how my characters are, I haven’t really been critiqued on how they are, but I like them. Seeing them change is going to kill me but I won’t have any say. The second my game gets funding; guess what? I take a back seat and shut the hell up until it’s done the way some other prick wants it.
And that’s what grinds my gears.
